ST 2110 Gateway
A software gateway between SMPTE ST 2110 and compressed IP transport. Take uncompressed flows out of the facility as SRT, UDP or HLS, and bring remote contribution back in as ST 2110.
Out of ST 2110
Video, audio and ancillary data from ST 2110 flows are encoded and delivered as MPEG-TS over UDP or SRT for contribution and distribution, or as HLS for playback in browsers, monitoring walls and OTT platforms.
Into ST 2110
Remote feeds, contribution links and live sources arriving over UDP, SRT, RIST, RTMP or WebRTC are decoded and emitted as ST 2110 flows, ready for the production switcher, multiviewer or router.
Where it fits
Remote contribution
Reporters, remote studios and event feeds come in over SRT, RIST or WebRTC and are handed to the ST 2110 production network as native flows.
Distribution and monitoring
Program output leaves the ST 2110 core for affiliates, partners and monitoring points as SRT or UDP, or as HLS for review on any screen.
Hybrid facilities
Existing compressed IP workflows keep running while the core moves to ST 2110. The gateway is the seam between the two.
